The Boston Tea Party was caused by the governments taxation on there tea that was the only tea shipped to them this made the colonists furious. The angry colonists came up with a plan to dump the tea into the harbor where the ship was located.So a group of colonists they went on to the ship dressed as Indians and broke a padlock to the cases of tea that they soon replaced later then they started to dump the tea into the harbor.That day they had dumped 90,000 pounds of tea into the harbor and not that long after the colonists started to sing songs about it to show they weren't going to pay taxes.This made the king furious and the people of England also mad this event led to the Intolerable acts.
